Alhamdulillāh, as the easing of the lock-down begins in Leicester, in accordance with Government guidelines the Mosque will be opening for Jama’at Salah from Fajr on Monday 3rd August 2020

Below are some rules that have been put in place:

• The Mosque doors will open 5 minutes before Azaan.
• The prayer hall will only be accessible from the Hall entrance (through the car park), the Kitchener Road side door will be locked until further notice.
• There is a one way system in place, entering from the right hall door and exiting from the left hall door.
• If asked to queue by volunteers, please stand at a safe distance, without obstructing others.
• For the purpose of NHS track and trace, please write your name, address and mobile number and bring this paper to the Mosque and put it in the allocated box.
• The doors will be locked once we reach the maximum capacity. There will be no concession on this.
• Please bring your own prayer mats.
• No access to the Wudhu Khana or Toilets, please attend in the state of Wudhu.
• Face covering is compulsory without one you wont be able to enter the Mosque due to the 1 meter arrangements.
• Please do not congregate outside the Mosque
• Children aged 10 and under should refrain from coming to the Mosque until further notice.
• Anyone over the age of 65, with underlying health issues such as: asthma, heart issues, diabetes etc. should refrain from coming to the Mosque until further notice.
• Any old age members with limited mobility who struggle with walking should refrain from coming to the Mosque until further notice.
• No access to Qur’ans, Tasbeeh’s or any other literature.
• Any members who are currently suffering from high temperature, continuous cough and flu like symptoms should refrain from coming to the Mosque.
• The capacity of the Mosque after socially distancing is 290 people, it will be on a first come first serve basis.
• Finally we are all in this together so please be patience and follow the guidance.

Jumuah Salah 1:

• Doors will open at 12:30PM
• Azaan will begin at 1:15PM

Jumuah Salah 2:

• Doors will open at 13:50PM
• Azaan will begin at 14:05PM

The Mosque has implemented these procedures to reduce the risk of the virus spreading. Please follow the procedures and the guidance of our volunteers when you come to the Mosque. Thank you for your cooperation.
