Abu Huraira (RA) narrated that Rasool Allah (SAW) said, “Any gathering in which people sit and do not do Zikr of Allah and do not send Durood upon their Prophet is of loss for them. If Allah wills, give them azab (punishment) and if wills, forgive them.” (Tirmizi)
The Hifz class (memorising the Qur’an), has been run by the Madrassa since it was established in 2002, to this date numerous students have completed the Hifz of the Holy Qur’an. (40 graduates by 2025)
The Hifz class is attended by children who have completed their Qur’anic reading classes and have made the commitment to memorise the Qur’an. Islamic studies and Tajweed is also taught along side the memorising of the Qur’an. Advanced students are given the opportunity to participate in functions where they are able to recite the Qur’an to the public, such as during the month of Ramadan and other religious events.
Evening class is held Monday to Friday 4:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Morning class is held Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
